Stabilizer

Hello
When I went to add Stabilizer it said to add thru the skimmer. But when I did that it clogged up since the granules were bigger than the holes in the original inlet. So reading further down said to mix in a bucket of warm water and broadcast. I did that but the granules never dissolved so worried if I threw it in the pool they set on the bottom and possible eat thru the liner.
So what to do or over worried about the granules ?

It might be best to vacuum them up. They'll end up in the skimmer or filter. In the future, put it in an old sock and hang it in front of a return.
