Stabilizer granules

Disolve chlorine stabilizer. I tried boiling water, worm water, pool water, even acid, nothing disolves stabilizer (cyanuric acid) granules. Then i realized that the stabilizer attaches to chlorine in the pool so i added a little chlorine to a small amount of stabilizer and it disolved quickly.

Wrong, wrong, wrong way to do it. Just put your granules into an old sock and hang it in front of a pool return so it can dissolve. Then you can periodically squeeze the sock to help it along. You should never mix chemicals out side of pool water.
