Hey guys,
I just sprayed the perimeter of my home with Bifentrhin for these darn lantern flys. Some of them were sprayed on and ofcourse these things are all over an jumping and some got in the pool. I usually find 30+ in my skimmer. Though now that some of them had gotten this insecticide on them and they end up jumping in the pool is that something to worry about?

No, the amount of insecticide they bring into the pool is small compared to the water volume that dilutes it.

Pyrethroid insecticides are generally not toxic to humans because our bodies contain enzymes (cytochrome family of enzymes) that can break them down into their non-toxic sub components. They are also not generally water soluble and so if you did get any of it in your pool, it would not mix with water.

A couple of dead bugs will not affect your pool water.
