I have recently installed a 16x36 steel walled pool and have an 89" round spa to install along the side. I have figured out the plumbing but unsure if the spa should be placed on a bed of sand or the 57 stone I used for the backfill of the pool. I have read about stone, over time pushing through fiberglass shells of pools so figured the same could happen with the spa (It will hold about 350 gallons of water)
