Hello, we have a fibreglass pool thats 18 months old. Been a constant battle. Had our pool recently repaired with 12 spider & fracture cracks. All the fractures are perfectly repaired, however the spider cracks have come back & now 2 months later there are more fractures in other locations. It this normal? My repairer things the cracks have always been there but we dont notice them until the pool is dirty & the dust gets stuck in the cracks. Thoughts? Do we continue to repair the cracks one by one? Or do i go down the line of fighting the manufacture to paint the whole shell. Im just worried, more cracks will reappear after my warranty is over & i cant work out why it keeps on happening.

With the history or repeated cracking, it would seem to indicate shell movement. That's what would concern me the most. Perhaps the pool wasn't placed on a solid base and secured very well? What type of base was used? Did you take pics of the install? Maybe share some with us if you can.

By the way, welcome to TFP!

More background to my story:

there has been a few events happen along the way thats caused cracks
1: the pool was in my front yard for 2 months, due to a delay in installation. Sitting on my grass getting hit by weather everyday.

2: there was a drummie step on the 2nd step, the builder installed expander foam under the step to fill it & repaired the holes. Expander foam ( expanded a little much & cracks appeared.

But thats all been fixed & im still getting cracks in different places.
This photo attached was a photo taken today. They just keep popping up.

We have checked for water, underneath is bone dry!

Geez, that installer didn't do you any favors. Sounds like a mess all around. Being dry doesn't mean the base is solid as evidence by the fact they already has to inject foam once. Hopefully they didn't make matters where. Those are some significant cracks IMO. In a corner of all places seems like there was some significant stress placed on the shell. I would let very good notes of everything and consider teaching out to the pool manufacturer for their recommendation.
