Hi everyone so today I noticed that my spa water level is low and while the pump runs my pool level rises. Any idea what could be going on? What are some of initial things I should be doing? Any help is appreciated thanks.

Check that your automated valves are set properly.
Does your spa normally flow over to the pool?

Your suction (Intake) valve should be set to pull only from the pool.
Your return valve should be set to the pool and spa (unless you have a make up line).

Post some pictures of your equipment pad.

Okay here are some pics of my equipment pad. Thank you so much for your help.

Here's an old photo of my equipment from when my pool was just installed. It doesn't look too different.

The suction valve is showing open to pool and closed to spa, so that is correct.
The return valve is showing open a little to the spa with most return going to the in floor Cleaner.

It all looks correct.

Gotcha. Any idea then what the issue could be? Should I just make sure my pool pump remains off while I hire a professional to figure this out?

Only thing that makes sense is a valve has failed. They are easy to repair if you find an issue.

Since it sounds like you have suction from the spa when you should not (spa level lowering), I would use the toggle switch on the actuator on the suction side and see if the valve moves normally.

Makes sense now! I found this piece while looking at the spa so yes it looks like it is the spring. Thank you both so much!

You are missing this part of the spring.

Do you know if this is an acceptable replacement? I have a Jandy check valve.

I went to my local pool store and they're quoting $60-99 for one replacement valve. I showed them this one and they warned me about the quality of these.
