Spa jets in pool mode

Hi TFP,

My spa jets has water coming out when in "pool mode". Not a big deal but I think it might be affecting the amount of water pressure coming through the jets in the pool. I also noticed that when the spa massage Jets are on that the amount of water pressure coming through the pool returns are significantly increased. I feel that by having less water pressure come through the pool returns that my pool will take longer to heat. Any thoughts and thanks,

Okay, I will do that thanks. In the meantime is it normal for water to come out of the spa Jets when the equipment is set to pool mode and the heater is on?

No, not normal. Either a valve is misset or the diverter on the POOL/SPA valve is leaking.

Thank you again for your help. I took some pics closer up. Please let me know if there is a way to stop the water from coming out of the jets when in 'pool mode' with the heater on and the spa jets 'off'. Appreciate it! AJ

You have a line labeled BYPASS that feeds water to the spa when in pool mode. Turn the blue valve on that line off and it should stop the flow to the spa when the pool is on.
