Spa jet mistake

Long story short. Pool builder messed up the jet height on several jets around the spa. We are also paying extra to have jet array cluster jets installed a 2 locations on a separate plumbing looks. They got at least one of these too low as well, and the other is lower than I preferred. They had to carve out a seat lower to get one go them off the bench. I wanted these higher but they ended up to low.

Now they want to lower the bench, which is already like 22 inches, and for the other simple jets that are too low they want to install directional jets to angle them up, I don’t know how they will do much.

I personally think this needs to be chiseled out and red it correctly. Am I over reacting?

I also included some pics of the plumbing to get thoughts on that as well. They do not appear to have installed a hardford loop either.

Thank you

Those changes would not be acceptable to me. I would tell the builder to blow the spa up and rebuild the right way and properly place the seats and jets. And install a Hartford loop in the air line so the blower will work.

There is no enjoyment in the spa if the jets are not placed right and have good water pressure.

That’s gonna be an uncomfortable conversation. In general they have been good to work with, rest of everything has seemingly gone well. I don’t know how willing they will be to tear it out for these issues. But I do feel that im not getting what I’m paying for with this spa.

It is always difficult dealing with nice but incompetent people.

It is your money and you will be living with the spa long after they are gone. You should get what you contracted for.
