Spa getting superchlorinated when In spa mode from salt cell

I recently put a salt cell in and have had some irritation issues in the spa. I took a water sample earlier today and my FC was 6 and Cc was 3. I have a spa spillover setup so my returns are to the pool and spa jets. My spa retuen diiverter valve is cracked open during normal operation to allow roughly 10% of return water to go to the spa but I found my spa water was not circulating enough and building CC so tonight a ran the spa for an hour to circulate the water to see if I should program the spa to run for 1 hour each day to keep water in there circulated and retested again and the Fc was at a 13. I need to find Balance between circulating the spa water enough to keep it clean and not overchlorinating it. Any advice? I’ve also tried turning the salt cell off when using the spa but at that point the water is already stagnant enough to build up CC due to not turning that water over enough

Nick,

My Pentair EasyTouch automation system will automatically reduce the SWCG output when in the Spa mode...

I am not up on your system, but I bet it will do the same thing... All these systems are basically the same... Check out the manual and see...

Thanks,

Jim R.
