I bought a used millivolt p206a raypak heater, i am installing it myself with the help of a pool technician and i have some questions if someone could kindly answer me would be very much appreciated.

1) its a manual heater, if i install the control board and install gas valve from the digital model, would that workout ?
2) how to install fireman switch for the manual millivot model ?
3) I have 2 options to install the heater which is better a) near the gas meter and the gas pressure regulator but have to run almost 85ft of water inlet and outlet piping to reach the pool filter and connections or b) put the heater near the filter and run 0.75in gas pipe all the way to the heater around 85ft but it will be away from the gas meter and pressure regulator.
4) is the 2inch cpvc connector of hyaward compatible with raypak also ?

1.) Can't use a digital control. You would need a new gas valve, a transformer, wire loom with proper connections for the board, the wiring compartment for a digital heater, and120 or 240V at the heater. That is not a conversion that can be easily made, if at all. It is best to not put a used gas valve from another heater back into service.
2.) Fireman's switch would install into one of the wires at the pressure switch.
3.) For natural gas, you can use 3/4" pipe for 25'. For propane, 60. For an 85' run you need to use 1" pipe until you get no more than 10' away from the heater, then change to 3/4." If the meter is 85' away from the equipment, that would be a total 170' of water piping to and from the heater. Running the 1" gas pipe would be a better option.
4.) Hayward connectors will not fit a Raypak heater.
A manual for your heater is attached.
