I have 2 leftover bags of pool salt that were stored in my shed and have solidified over the winter. Salt looks okay, nice and white, etc Can i add a large chunk of pool salt directly into pool?

To be safe, break it up with a hammer, head or claw...

it is fine and it will disolve quicker than you think.

Break chunks Into a 5 gallon bucket and dissolve and then pour the salt water into pool
