Hi All. This summer my friend and I constructed a solar system using pex pipe. At times the water has come out so hot you can barley keep your hands on it. However, it has not seemed to really improve the overall temperature. My thoughts are that it is not warming a large enough quantity of water? Does anyone have any ideas and or experience with this topic please? Thank you. : ) PS I think we are just going to try to sell it to someone with a small pool. PS #2 Would anyone know if the we were to have got the flow in and the flow out reversed does it really matter?

From what I have seen here posted, you don't have near enough hose coiled up.

I'll look and see if I can find an example.

I think so too. My friend is really prideful and sensitive. I am trying to get this point across but it is difficult. I think we needed about 10 times the amount of pex piping.
