So have had my prologic working since beginning of July and have noticed of late that the solar valve isn't opening and closing when the temperature indicates that it should. If I manually tell the panel to open or close the valve, it works fine, but not when the temperature is calling for the valve to open or close.
Hayward has indicated to have servicer/installer look at it, or power off the system then power on again (props to the IT Crowd
). I don't buy it. Since I installed it calling myself isn't really an option. I might have to put in a warranty call, but I'd rather solve the issue on my own. Anyone have any experience with a deep dive into these units? Its the Prologic PS-PL-4-CUL and works perfectly fine with the heater control.
