Solar series vs parallel

I am attaching some pics of the panels, equipment plumbing and pump label.
I believe the panels have the input output on the diagonal.

How far is the pump from the pool?

On full speed, what is the filter pressure with and without solar turned on?

I believe the panels have the input output on the diagonal.
Yes, they are on the diagonal so that part is fine. I see why the installer did it that way. There isn't much room for routing an additional return pipe.

Although not ideal, I think it will work fine. You may not need all that heat anyway so you always have the option of reducing flow rates and saving energy at the expense of heat gain.

FWIW: tablet feeders are a very bad idea in Northern California. They will continue to add CYA to the water and you will find that the CYA is so high that the FC level has to be super high as well to prevent algae. Due to drought conditions and limited rain season, it could be very expensive to replace the pool water to reduce the CYA. Long term you would be better off with a SWCG.

The pump is about 50 feet from the pool. The solar is farther away, I'd say 100 feet.
I don't have any manometer to measure pump pressure. Is there any easy way of measuring it?
I am not using the tablet feeder for the reason you mentioned. I found TFP when I started the pool and have used liquid chlorine so far.
