Solar pool cover recommendations

Hey everyone,

can anyone recommend a specific manufacturer/model you had good luck with for your solar pool cover?

I was told clear and 16mil but a lot of the ones I have been seeing have bad reviews.

I don’t mind spending money so any budget you can recommend, thank you.

The general consensus of forum members is to buy the least expensive cover since none seem to last longer than others. I've had several covers over the years and I generally get four seasons of use out of them. Thicker isn't always better. A one piece 16 mil cover will be very heavy and it won't keep heat much better than thinner covers. I generally go with a 12 mil which is heavy enough to keep it from blowing away, but still manageable.
