Sock did wonders!

Cotton sock is dirty!! Rinse it off and reapplied, but when I vacuumed up some dirt piles to the filter, I saw a gray/black cloud forming in the pool around the sock. Seems the sock is still letting more through than it is catching It IS catching something, but more would be better, so back to the drawing board it seems

After reading thru many posts and almost deciding to drain my pool to get rid of silt on bottom I put pair of panty hose around the filter that came with my 12x30 round intex pool. Ran the pump for about 5 hours - silt is gone - pool is clean. Now if only all my other problems could be solved this quick and easy! : )

Conart5...Wow that pool area looks great! I have never seen that done before with a floating ring pool. Nice job! I used to have that pool and mine did not look nearly so inviting as yours.
