I tested my water this am TC high like top of the yellows in the test tube. FC only 2. I know i need to shock. But My kids swam yesterday. Now I'm freaking out about how high it was yesterday. My pH 7.2, alk higher like 110, cya 30. Are they going to get sick? I'm too anxious to own a pool. Just when I think I have it down I don't.

I have the TF-Pro with Smart Stir kit. When I said yellow at the top I meant the chlorine ph drop test.

Add enough liquid chlorine to raise FC into your target level for your CYA. Be sure you are doing that every day.

Water looks clear. Because it's a small pool 10 foot quick set pool I don't have a vacuum. I just use the net to get debris out.

Great. Remember, if the water ever goes cloudy, you are likely best to drain and start over.
I keep thinking if I can figure this out I'll get a bigger pool but ugh!

One more question, when I enter into the app how to lower my alkalinity it says lower ph to 7.2, which is already where I'm at, and aerate. How do I do this in a small pool?

Let the kids play in it.
Do not concern yourself about the TA. Keep the pH in the 7's. TA has little effect on your pool water chemistry.
