Noticed about a 3" hairline crack about 5 feet down along the wall of our in ground Fiberglass Pool (sprayed on, over cement/gunnite). I don't think there's a leak going on. (Haven't noticed any change in needs of water fills). We've clearly had some settlement over the 7 years of having this (fiberglass) replaced - notably a few coping tiles cracked.
I've done some searching for repairing Fiberglass and found a variety of options that can be applied under water - no draining of pool required - WHICH I REALLY DON'T WANT TO DO unless we start seriously losing water. AquaBond seems like one of the best products, albeit expensive.
So looking for any recommendations from any of you who have gone thru this repair process. Yea, it's only 3" and very fine/thin, but I'd like to nip this in the bud before anything significant happens requiring major work.
Thanks in advance !!
