Slow and Indecisive

Hi All,

I have been debating about what to do about my pool for almost a year. It is off/uneven about 2 inches on one side compared to the other. It was built in 1994. The unevenness doesn't bother me. I have been told it only matters when I go to the sell house. What I am looking to do is the following. Take out all old equipment and fully automate the system with new Pentair equipment that can be operated on my phone. I am looking to resurpahse the pool and put in new glass tiles. My decking is Cantilever and I am really not trying to rip it up or replace it. It is fine.

I have had recommendations to rip out the old pool and start new and do not invest the money. Very few people think I should do which is the way I am strongly leaning. I figure I can spend the money, If I do not like it, I can keep all the new equipment and use it if I decide to rip everything up at a later date.

I am cheap but not willing to spend the money on a new pool until I try to see if I hate the "basic" remodel if that makes sense.

Thoughts? Ideas?
