Slight Algae Problem... SLAM?

So it has been pretty crappy weather in Green Bay, tested the pool on Saturday below are my results. Didn't take off the solar cover for 2 days because of the weather. Today I took off the cover and the bottom and sides are starting to get yellowish green. I was a bit careless during this bad stretch of weather and let the FC get lower than 2. Do I need to SLAM the pool again or just add more chlorine to get to 5 ppm? Also, is it safe to swim during a SLAM and can I heat the pool during a SLAM? Thanks for all of your help.

It would be best to follow theSLAM Process. A little acid to drop the pH and some chlorine to get to 12 ppm FC.

You can safely swim in a pool as long as the FC is above the minimum and at or below SLAM level based on your CYA. You must also be able to see the bottom of the pool in the deep end of the pool.

You can heat the pool if you like. Do leave the cover off during the day to release the CC. You can cover the pool at night.
