I’m currently slamming due to a little “dust” on the floor. I had the solar cover on when I was noticing the algae dust over a week period. What are your thoughts on trying to lay the solar cover out in the grass and clean it? Or maybe put it on during the slam to clean it? I just don’t want bring the algae back in when I unroll the solar cover back on the pool. Any advice or anyone whose put the cover back on with no issues?
Thanks,
Derek

I doubt the chlorine at SLAM levels would harm the cover, but it's probably best to keep the cover off to allow the burn-off of CCs during the SLAM. Be careful leaving the cover on the grass for too long. There's a strong potential it will kill your grass. If it were me, I would lay it out, spray a solution of bleach and water, brush, rinse, and roll up quickly.
