Salinity ppm is 3400- so its steady now.

Ph still screaming up (back at 7.8)- this causes a slight staining but not bad. If I drop it to 7.2 the stains slowly go away. Will make sure I do monthly sequestrant to keep the metals down - I also use CUL-LATOR

Salinity is now 3000ppm- confirmed by 1766 and the SWG reading- both agree. I am thinking it's because the rain and subsequent small drainage of some cracked tiles at top of pool. No splashing etc has occurred. So in the course of 8 days I dropped 400 ppm

The test can be off by +/- 200 ppm. So long as u keep the swg happy & have an idea of your level you’re good to go.
