slam process and heavy rain-auto cover

I am in the slam process, pool is still a little cloudy, FC 16ppm target, heavy rain moving in for the next 24 hours. Rain is expected to move in around 1pm today. My am FC reading was 13.7 and PH was 7.8. My questions are;
1. Will the rain affect my readings, I will have to drain some water off.

2. Should I let my FC drift down below 10ppm, and close the cover, and resume slam after rain moves out.

3. Do you continue with slam during rain.

Continue with the SLAM. Rain will have minimal effect. If you do have to let water go due to overfilling, continue with the SLAM and simply revalidate the CYA afterwards. No need to mess with the pH during the SLAM. Good luck!
