Just opened pool. Crystal clear water. Filled up to proper level and let filter run for a day or so. Numbers come back pretty great. Just adding some borax to raise the ph and need to add some LC. Any reason to slam the pool of everything is looking good? First time opener if it wasn’t evident already. Thanks

Not necessarily, although it's always good to see a full set of test results. But if you see no cloudiness or potential signs of algae, continue to balance for the moment. If something seems odd later, you can always do an Overnight Chlorine Loss Test.

Actually, with a vinyl pool a low CH is of no consequence, so you're good there. If we round-up your CYA to 50, just make sure to keep the FC a bit stronger as noted on the FC/CYA Levels. Chilly water is your friend right now.
Yeah I added maybe half a gallon of 12.5% Sunday evening and it’s still at 3.5 so I was pumped. Thanks for the help
