Hey follow up question. I added my CYA after my two days of passing the OCLT.
This morning I tested FC and CC and --- my CC was 1.5 and I tested it twice.
Why would that happen? It doesn't make sense to me. It would appear I have to go back to the SLAMer but my FC levels yesterday never drifted below shock level.
Can this be a technical issue. Let me rephrase - please tell me it's a technical issue!

just watch it for a couple days and make sure your fc is set for your new CYA level.. your cc will fluctuate as you use the pool...
1.5 seems kind of high but CC is a normal thing to see as organics get in the pool get tied up by the FC and become CC then finally break down the rest of the way and the CC disappears again - as long as the CC goes away and everything else continues to look good don't worry
I did add 70ppm liquid CYA last evening. Hoping that may explain the bump somehow, given the fact that this time I was definitely done with the SLAM.
Can't explain the blip (which was tested twice) but this afternoon it is 0. Maybe a quirk of the large CYA slug.
