Yes, exactly.
But the extreme heat and direct sunlight here basically renders liquid chlorine shock useless (Especially now that I added sodium bromide haha). Will a pool sun shade help with depletion rate by blocking DIRECT sunlight or just the fact that it's daylight is enough to deplete?We would just really advise the use of liquid chlorine in almost every instance. The only time I use tablets is if I am going to be on vacation. I will take my pool up to slam level the night before I leave and float a floater full of tablets and be fine for the week. That's the ONLY time I will ever let a tablet near my pool. Liquid is cheaper too
