My Skimmer Wizard got installed for the fall leaf season.

I wanted some alternative attachment points to relieve me from disconnecting the Skimmer Wizard when servicing the skimmer basket. I thought of fabricating a couple of small ABS plastic hooks and using Plast-Aid to attach them inside the skimmer where they do not interfere with the basket. However, I decided to first install some temporary hooks to ensure I had the right placement. I installed two 3M adhesive hangers (3M 17081-8ES) in the skimmer and attached the Skimmer Wizard.

The positioning could be a bit higher, but the attachment lines currently allow the weir door to float to its normal height.
Although I intended this as a temporary measure, I am impressed that the hooks have stuck in there for several weeks. I don't know how long they'll hang around, but I'm going to leave them there until they fail.
Anyone have other ideas for how to make skimmer anchor points?
