Thanks Herman!
I found a solution, I think, to being able to add a plunger to the restricted inlet that is getting air bubbles. Found out about a type B adapter that will allow me to add single plunger to each inlet, meaning I can turn each one off by itself if one is bringing air into the pump. So, may be able to leave pump on to circulate & run SWG for the 2 days unattended. I get it tomorrow so will see. I just worry that the water not circulating will cause some algae to take hold even with FC slam level. But I could just be having wild momma pool worries for no reason lol. Let me know if my worry about circulation will not matter at SLAM levels.
No matter if I have pump on or off will put pool cover on. Thanks! Would I be able to use a submersible pump to get rain off the cover (if it rains…hear that makes the covers HEAVY lol) or would that type of pump be too heavy to put on cover?
If I can get rid of growing an air pocket for 2 days…if I have it covered (should cut down on bugs)…if circulation matters…sock on or off? I have found that the big bugs that get stuck in pump basket tend to usually get stuck in the weaves of the basket where the water is flowing into the pump. They don’t usually get caught in the weaves of the skimmer sock so float around. Somehow more bugs floating in skimmer basket sounds better to me than more big bugs stuck in pump basket weave right where it flows into pump.
And if worse case… bring to SLAM level & circulate a bit, cover, shut everything off for 2 days. And hopefully do not have the spend the little bit of pool season we have left doing a SLAM to clear algae I have never had yet.
Keep telling myself I can do this…momma can take a couple days away from baby pool…just breathe lol.
