Skimmer issues

My skimmer has two holes. One sucks the water as it should allowing you to vacuum and such. Today i noticed that the other hole is loaded with sand. Not sure how that happened and don’t know how to clear it out. Any help would be appreciated.

Most likely capped off under the skimmer..

Show us a couple of pics of your equipment pad and we can tell for sure..
