Skimmer Basket Tool

Any recommendations for a good tool to pull the skimmer basket out (bonus points if it is multi-purpose)? I currently have the Skimmer angel but it is still not perfect when it comes to live frogs and rodents trying to jump on to your arms

Has anybody here tried out Frank Wall's Skim Buddy yet -

Looks like it only came out a couple of months ago but based on the demo video it covers every use case I can think of.

Oooh, that looks handy for my pool. We've had various "livestock" in the basket at times along with massive pine needles before.

Just bought the "skim buddy" after watching the guy who maintain the pool till now used it. No reason to kneel and play surprise roulette with critters

I have tried these products and they are all just blah. What I use now is the double hanging hook for my pool leaf rake and brush handles. Works better than anything else I have tried.
