I've had this pole for about a year now and I just got finished cleaning the pool the other day and shortened the pole. Today I went to extend it but it won't budge. I tried twisting and it seems stuck. Any ideas on what could be wrong?
I've had that happen before when the "inside" pole gets dented. Mine had a very small dent but it was enough to make the pole stick. Once I finally got mine out again I know now just to leave it extended past where the dent is.I've had this pole for about a year now and I just got finished cleaning the pool the other day and shortened the pole. I have had to wrap the pole (another brand but same concept) in a towel to keep from scratching, then use two sets of channel lock pliers to break it loose. After you get it loose, spray the locking parts with silicone to keep it from locking up again.
