Sinkhole in shallow end

This just appeared recently. Likely from when house was built in 2000 they buried stumps and material under the pool.

Pool is 4 years old. Meeting with pool builder next week to discuss options. Hopefully liner doesn't rip before we can address the issue.

Hopefully there is a way to fix this and prevent it going forward without too much cost or destruction. Not a fun way to enjoy the summer...

On the bright side, it’s in the floor. If a panel dropped, it would get much uglier.

No it's a custom vinyl liner pool.

I get that. I am just curious as which manufacturer made the panels.

Ah. Not sure manufacturer of panels. Think it was just steel walls put in place.

Liner replacement obviously & find/create competent soil for subbase.

Given the pool layout & your location, I’m pretty sure who built the pool - if it is one of the 2 I presume, they are quality outfits..

Indeed... I recognized the pool package , equipment pad & style of decking a million miles away..

He is a good guy, gets up early & has a stellar product.
