Should I lower my alkalinity?

alk 87 (I'm using a photometer instead of my test kit)

calcium 340

CYA 80

Temp 64°

CSI -0.35

I'm not badly out of balance am I? I over shot on adding alkalinity and have lowered it from mid 90's to current level. Should I hit the muriatic acid/aeration again?

You're fine.

Wait until pH climbs to 7.8 before adding any more acid.

If that CYA is correct, then you need more bleach.

I do get -.34 when I enter 3500 ppm of salt...

Either way you are fine as you pH will drift up anyway...

Oops. Forgot the salt level....it's 3600

That's what I was thinking but the pH hasn't budged for the last 4 weeks. Once it goes up the TA will come down as I add MA for reducing the pH, right?

If your pH is stable then you are one lucky 'hog"... Just leave everything alone!!! Unless pH goes above 7.8..
