I’m about 10 days into my curing process and I’m noticing a lot of debris from the pool shell. Basically little pieces that have crumbled off. How much is normal, what should the shotcrete texture look like, and what are some signs of a poor job?

I’m already skeptical of the sub my PB used for other reasons and I know they didn’t remove any rebound during the process.

Do you have pictures? I had some debris on mine, but I wouldn’t say a lot. Mine was also generally rough, with some places tougher than others. Plaster smooths over it all in the end though.

It doesn’t look all that different from mine that was sprayed in early June.
