Shiny floaters on pool surface

working on bringing my CYA up slowly with some tablets I was gifted, this reading was right now, 10PM so my chlorine level has been good. I know that it hasn’t dipped below 2, which is minimum for my CYA.
I just reran the test with a larger water sample and got FC 2.8 and CC .2

I’m not sure what this film might be, if I run my pump on high it will seem To skim off and be fine after a day or so but it keeps coming back.

Has anybody had a graduation party? Or been to one? Could it be glitter?

Or do u have one of those floats with the glitter in it - may have hole . I speak from experience ?

It’s definitely not glitter, but I had considered- my solar cover is not long for this life, perhaps this is the outer covering of the cover? I keep getting the little blue “contact lenses” in my skimmer.
That makes sense too because it’s on there after I take the cover off, and goes away after it’s been skimming for a bit.
