Just moved into a house with a pool. The liner has floated a bit to indicate water underneath it. So I checked the sump pit - look like it is quite shallow - around 3-4 ft. The deep end of the pool is ~8ft so should the sump pit be at least that much deep ? If there is mud build up over the time that the owner didnt fix, how can I clean it ?
