New plaster is in and pool being filled via trucks as I type this. Hope to have an accurate water quantity this time. Last time hose leaked a few thousand gallons down the street.

Reading from this site, I was under the impression I needed to add a sequestering agent on fill day. Took a sample of the fill water to pool store and got 0.1 ppm for iron , 0.0 ppm for copper and 197ppb for phosphates. Asked them abt the using the sequestering agent but they had no idea what I was talking abt. Do I need a sequestering agent?

Not likely. Fill it and balance. Report what the water looks like after you balance.

If the iron is an issue, then deal with it then, not in advance, you don't know it is a problem yet, or even if there is iron really...
