I have searched forever on here about Sequa Sol and have found some useful info but can't find what I am looking for. Does Sequa Sol or similar products affect the chlorine test that I do? I have heard that it can cause higher than actual chlorine readings but I don't know how to account for this. I only use about 4-6 ounces per week in my vinyl pool to just keep the metals from binding on my heater. 2 years ago without the product I got what looked like sea shells clogging my heater components. I have not had the problem since but I want to make sure I am not getting false chlorine readings. Thanks for the help.
