Septor 7 FeedBack

Hello everyone, we decided to have a pool put in and the pool builder is pushing for the Septor 7 system. I've noticed that saltwater systems are very popular with pool owners, can anyone that has a septor 7 system please give me some feedback as far as reliability. Thanks

Hi there MPD16- Welcome to TFP... hope you'll stick around and read some of our methods which have been proven by thousands of pools.

Just reading the Septor 7 website makes my skin crawl. Seriously. We would NEVER recommend a gimmick like this. It highlights Alkalinity as being far, far more important than it is, and then one page says you don't even have to use chemicals like Muriatic Acid when another page says the Muriatic Acid cartridge should last a month. NO mention whatsoever about sanitation!

Please consider a salt water system as assurance of your water's sanitation, protection from person to person transfer of pathogens and a way to maintain crystal clear water without mysterious "alternative" gimmicks.

Consumers claim 'chemical-free' pool product doesn't work

Some consumers are upset because they say they paid thousands of dollars on a chemical-free product to help maintain their pools and claim it doesn't work.
