Semi Inground Pool where is your Pump located?

Good Morning All:
For those of you with a semi inground pool...where is your pump/filter located? Is it far away from the pool...is it at level with the pool...on a base? At a total loss as to where to place it. Thanks for the help!

I don't have this type of pool but I want to toss my two cents in- please, wherever you place your equipment, make it so that it is not the first thing one sees when looking at the pool from the house. I'd suggest placing it in back of the pool so it isn't visible from the house if possible. Some really nicely done pools are a let down visually when the equipment is front and center, IMO.

Also placing the equipment on a level pad is *always* a good idea.

Our equipment is about 4 1/2 feet from the pool on a few pavers.

mine is about 3' from my pool kinda hidden between the A/C unit and the edge of my deck.

How much of the pool will be buried?

Are you using a high pool wall to qualify as a barrier???

Equipment needs to be placed where it can not be used as a ladder to climb over a barrier.
