As the title suggested. My fiberglass pool is about seventeen years old and it's time to resurface. I find there aren't a lot of contractors who do it, so the options are limited. For anyone who's been through this process, what are some things I should look out for when speaking to contractors who perform this service? Are there any benefits between whether they refinish using epoxy vs gel coat? And lastly, does anyone have any suggestions for a solid contractor who can handle this that services Central Indiana? Thanks!

From what I have read there seems to be contractors who travel around the country resurfacing fiberglass pools. Many connected with the fiberglass pool manufacturers doing repair and warranty work.
It look to me like there would be too little work in any area to keep a contractor who specializes in that busy. So they have to travel more widely.
