scratches on pool plaster

An accident caused visible scratches on my plaster (pic attached). Any recommendation on how to fix it? Or should I find a contractor for it? Thanks

I don't know if it would be practical from a cost and effort perspective, but if it is to you, I would strongly consider a pro. Someone else may have some ideas for you.

It's that a scratch or a crack? What type of accident?

If it is a scratch and it isn't too deep, then you could try sandpaper that's made for wet sanding. Start with 400 grit and see how that works out.

my neighbor's canopy fell into my pool which caused the scratches. it doesn't look deep at all. my problem is i will have trouble reaching the scratches myself as i am not a good swimmer. else i can try your approach.

i have tried to call a few pros but seems nobody is interested in doing the repair for me

How well does the neighbor with the canopy swim? Only seems fair.
