Hi All, our new inground plaster pool has been filled for approximately 5 weeks. About 2 weeks ago I noticed white scale in some of the grout joints around the spa. I was able to clean most of them off with my fingernail. Now they are much worse. There are 4 large ones and a few very small ones. They start a few inches above the water line. I have trouble getting any answers from our PB. Chemistry has been monitored and maintained but it doesn’t seem like it’s a water issue as it is above the water. Anyone have any idea what it is and how it can be removed?

That's called efflorescence and is caused by water getting behind the tiles and pushing out the minerals in the grout. Some wall applications the PB will put a water proof liner under.
Try to use a dilute muriatic acid solution (like 1 part water to 3 parts water) and a gentle brush to see if that will remove it.
