Hello everyone!

I'm excited to be back on the forum in preparation for this swimming season. Really enjoyed TFP as a first time pool owner last year- but I can't say I was perfectly consistent with pool chemistry and adding chlorine- which is why I am trying to convince the wife that converting to saltwater is a wise purchase. I've attached a picture of my setup- we don't use the booster pump (robot), so I'm assuming I can install the SWG on the section circled in yellow? Anything I'm missing? Thanks guys!

DA,

You have circled the exact spot where a salt cell should be installed.. (Are you sure you are an Aggie??) :poke:

I suggest that you think about an RJ instead of the SJ.. Notice that the SJ requires a salt level of 3500 or more, while the RJ is 2800 to 4500..

The higher the salt level the more likely that you will taste it.

As always, it is your pool and you can do what you want..

Thanks,

Jim R.
