Sand washed out from the bottom!

Hello all,
I had a leak in my pool. It was in the curved part where the bottom curves up into the wall. We were leaking water for about 2 weeks, Not significant but we thought knew what and where the leak was coming from. During the time water was washing out the sand base.
Now there is a sag in the pool liner that is about 2-3" deep in the liner and about 5" long. Is there a way to lift up the bottom and put sand back underneath the pool to raise the liner so remove at least some of the sag?
Do I just keep trying to cram sand underneath. Use some kind of fulcrum and level situation to make it easier to lift the bottom of the pool to put sand underneath?
In the picture below, if you look at the "ground level" sand was washed out underneath. The out pool wall if fine. and not that much sand washed out from under the pool but as from the description about the dimensions of the dip. I just need to get some sand up underneath the liner.

HI and welcome to TFP. I had one of my hoses come off my pool and that caused some sand to come out from under the pool. What I did was push the sand back in by hand WHILE my husband helped it go where it should and pushed down with his heel when it tried to bunch up too much in a spot. He was inside the pool and I was outside the pool.

Good luck!
