Sample containers for Taylor salt and general chemistry

I just got the Taylor k-1766 kit for testing the salt in my water. Is there any reason why I shouldn't just use the sample tube from my k2006 kit when testing for salt? Even the instructions that came with the k-2006 say to use the 1766 sample tube (part #9198) but as long as I rinse the 2006 tube is there a risk of contamination or something? It would nice to have everything in one nice, neat k-2006 box.

The salt test tends to leave white deposits in the tube, especially if you're using a SpeedStir. I'm not sure that that would actually impact any of the other tests, but I tend to just use the tube that came with the salt test for only the salt test.
