I have a zodiac duo clear 60 saltwater chlorine generator and I have had this add salt light on for the past few days, I added 2 bags of salt and my actual reading is getting too high now but the alarm still won’t reset. I am not sure what’s going bad in the generator, don’t know if the cartridge is on it’s last leg or something else is the problem. My FC is beginning to drop. Any way I can fix this or a short term solution so that I don’t get a I’ll blown algae. Thanks

What is your current FC and CYA? Add liquid chlorine to get your FC into target range for your CYA. FC/CYA Levels

You don"t mention how you test the water. We here like the Tf-100. Assuming the CYA is correct round it up so consider it 50. Your target for FC is 6-8 with an FC minimum of 4 s pool your way low on chlorine. Get 5ppn of chlorine into the water as per poolmaths calculations.
