How long can you store pool salt? I found it on clearance for half price due to the summer ending and am wondering if I can buy a bunch of it and it still be good for next seasons start up (6 months from now). Thanks.

I love seeing the bottles of pink sea salt in the supermarket. It 1.3 million years old but freshest by 2/15/2020
MSH : I keep mine inside. Even if it’s covered/ in a shed there is generally more humidity outside and a temperature range from minus 5 to 105 degrees.

Ive still got prolly 25 spare bags of it stacked up in my storage shed in the back yard. They are 6 years old. When I built my pool in 2013, I stocked up on the stuff because I had no idea of what was doing! LOL.
