Hi everyone, forgive me if this is a common question. I did a search but could not find an answer. At the closing of my SWG pool in the fall my salt level was at 3400ppm. The pool is now open and has been for over a week. As I did my tests today with the taylor kit I found my salt PPM to be around 5800ppm, I was thinking that can't be correct so I went ahead and tested with a strip and had essential the same result 5700ppm. There has been no salt added over the winter and in fact I anticipated needing to add salt as I had to drop the pool level twice over the winter. Hopefully someone can shed some light on why the ppm level would increse.
