Salt Inventory

Good morning fellow pool owners -

Looks like I need to add salt to the pool. Problem is I can't seem to find it. Anyone else having inventory problems at their local walmart? Here in the Long Island area they seem to be out of Pool Salt, Water Softener Salt...any kind of salt I'd toss into my pool. I mean, I think they had Clorox salt, but I wouldn't touch that stuff with a 10 foot pole.

Anyone else?

I recently picked up a bag of Morton’s pool salt at my local Ace Hardware. Might be worth a call to your local store (Costello’s maybe?).

The hen‘s teeth around here lately is muriatic acid. None of the local big box stores stock it anymore (special order only).

The pool store is fine for salt. If they charge $1.50 more a bag, but they have it............ and there are a bunch of kid employees around to load it in your car for you.

Try the paint stores or the paint aisle of the home stores. Both should have it year round
